Service here was amazing. 50% off wine bottle sunday. Gives you an opportunity to try nice expensive wine. We came here for my buddy birthday. Our waitress was amazing. We all ordered a variety of different things. But my filet mignon was really good. Seafood platter was on point. No one had any complaints so I would say we all had a great experience and food was good.

Finally tried LB Steak in San Ramon. Came here with a girlfriend after a self care session at a massage and facial place. We were refreshed and ready for good food and wine. We made a reservation ahead of time. We were greeted as soon as we entered and were seated very quickly. The hostess put us in a half booth table. Very nice table set up, clean, and neat. Our server, Mike, was great! He came by to greet us and introduce himself right away. We quickly decided on a bottle of wine and he brought it out for us to try. It was delicious! Such a great choice. Mike was great with food recommendations and suggestions when we asked about comparisons. Service was wonderful. Place was neat and clean. Food was great. We will be back! What we ordered: 4 oysters - 2 from East and 2 from West Hokkaido scallops 14oz ribeye cooked medium rare Lobster mac and cheese with pork belly on the side Mushrooms Spring salad Bottle of 2020 Chateau Saint-Sulpice Bordeaux

This review is for their happy hour selection. I cannot find a better deal in the area. They have a wagyu burger on the happy hour menu that I've seen other folks complain about the bun. I could see why some people might not like the bun honestly. But, if you get the burger cooked where there's still some juice (medium/rare) I feel the bun really shines. Fries were good. Lightly seasoned and very crispy. The burger and fry combo is cheaper than In N Out for the amount of food you are getting. I believe it's a 3/4 pound patty. You can add cheese, bacon, mushrooms at an additional cost. Drinks are reasonable. Glass of house wine $10, beer is $5 and I believe it's $10 a cocktail. They have a nice little menu for their HH customers. Will put this on my rotation.

My mom picked this restaurant for her birthday dinner. It's located in a shopping plaza so plenty of parking. Tho when busy, you may have to drive around a bit to find a spot. I've been to the location in SJ for lunch, but never this one and never for dinner. It was nice to trying different kinds of a5 wagyu. I've honestly never had it outside of fancy michelin places, so I think the grades are different here? Definitely chewier and not so melt in your mouth. One of our steaks had a giant trail of fat and gristle running thru it. When we pointed it out, they immediately rectified it and prepared us a new steak. I can't recall their corkage policy, but I think it's buy one from their menu, get one comped. I'm pretty sure we had more than one bottle of wine knowing my family. Or knowing me. Lol! Service was great! They even gave us a complimentary birthday dessert sampler with all three desserts on the menu - Chocolate Molten Cake, Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee, Chocolate and Butterscotch Pudding. I always appreciate these types of gestures. Makes the meal feel special. And thinking of the customer is always a plus. A nice steakhouse for a celebration meal. If I lived int he area, would definitely stop by for happy hour. Maybe one day when I'm randomly visiting the fam. REVIEW #3457
